The Subtle Abyss, by Joel Biroco

The Subtle Abyss is a Joel Biroco’s exploration of ‘the landscape of madness’. An exercise in opening oneself up to the dark voices that pass through during ‘the séance on the typewriter’. To a certain extent an automatic writing, it is a ghostly and demonic work with the eloquence of The Adversary, and perhaps a codicil to the longer book Demonic in Thought, though it can be read as a standalone piece. A meditation on the darkness.
